The cmotion Cinefade VariND has a range from ND.4 to ND1.9+ within the ‘optical safe range’. After the initial light loss of 1.5 stops you are able to dynamically attenuate 5 stops of light. It is possible to expand this range by 3 stops up to ND2.7 with the introduction of a slight colour cast, which is easily corrected in post production.
